Quick-Fit ductwork
Ductwork that clamps together, not welds
Dust settling inside a duct run causes trouble long before anyone notices it. It narrows the bore, drags extraction performance down, and with the wrong material in the airstream it becomes a fire and explosion risk. Quick-Fit duct is formed with a smooth internal surface and sealed joints, so there is far less for dust, fibre, oil and mist to cling to.
We supply the whole system rather than parts of it — straight duct, bends, branches, flanges, hoods, dampers, clips and the accessories that go with them. Available in:
- Galvanised steel or 304 stainless
- 80 mm to 710 mm diameter
- 1000, 1500 and 2000 mm lengths
- Larger diameters on flanged connections
Why Quick-Fit instead of welded duct
A clamped system goes in faster, comes apart cleanly, and moves with you when the plant layout changes.
- Joints close with a single clip. No rivets, screws or welding, which cuts installation time and the downtime around it by up to half.
- Runs can be taken apart and relocated when machinery moves or a work area is reconfigured, so the ductwork stays an asset rather than becoming a write-off.
- The smooth internal surface resists build-up of dust, fibre, oil and mist, which means fewer blockages and less of the ignition risk that comes with them.
- Sealed joints keep air leakage and pressure loss low, holding airflow steady and reducing what the extraction system costs to run.
- Components are made to industry-standard specifications and adapt to most existing ductwork, so a system can usually be extended rather than replaced.
